21 days till Paris: Beyonce's PARIS Edition

I'm not going to her show nor am I a member of the BEYHIVE, but I thought I'd share this photo because she is currently in Paris and I will be going shortly!!!  It's getting closer to my departure date, May 16, and I'm excited and nervous at the same damn time. I still have a lot to do, and I fear missing something or traveling without having all my ducks in a row. I'm sure all will work out accordingly. Countdown!!!!!

Below are pictures of Beyonce and her daughter hanging out before her 2nd sold out show later today!

26 days till Paris: Cocktails at French restaurant, Jean Georges and Barneys excursion

I didn't have to work at the Kilian counter this weekend, so I decided to spend a few hours in NYC. Once I got off the 1 train at Columbus Circle, I walked over to the Trump International Hotel to the famed French restaurant, Jean George.  It's one of the highest rated restaurants in NYC! I didn't have dinner; instead, I opted to have cocktails with a good friend. I didn't stay at the bar long as I wanted to leave enough time for me to stroll over to Barneys to smell some new perfumes. I listened to Josephine Baker on Pandora on my walk over...totally in French mode.  I dipped in between and/or passed the many people visiting Central Park without distraction. I arrived at Barneys and immediately went to the 1st floor to play. After a couple of hours of chatting, sniffing, whiffing, and purchasing  perfume and makeup, I became hungry and decided to go have an early dinner upstairs at Fred's. I pulled out my new MacBook Pro to begin composing this post with my $20 cocktail, $10 fries, and $20 pizza as a back drop! Needless to say, the food was expensive and tasty but the experience of enjoying my own company, doing what I love, and making friends with bartender, Priceless.
ByTerry lipstick and lipgloss. Love this line

My $20 cocktail, which was damn good by the way but too bad I couldn't afford another

30 Days till France: French Dinner at BEAUMARCHAIS with GF

Tuesday April 16th marked 30 days until my France trip. What better way to get the excitement rolling then to have a kick off dinner at Beau Marchais, a NYC French brasserie located in the Meat Packing District! My friend, Tamarra, was my dinner date! She sipped on red wine, while I opted for a tasty cocktail made with champagne and raspberry puree. Of course we had French fries or as the French call it "Pommes Frites" I had ravioli stuffed with goat cheese and topped with green peas. Tamarra ordered the french version of pizza with arugula salad on top. Both meals were delicious. In between taking and posting pictures on instagram, we made time to chat about work and our upcoming trips next month. It was definitely a fun chill night at Beau Marchais. The crowd was diverse for a Tuesday night and the French house music, if such exist, had us jamming until we were ready to call it a night. Check out the pictures and the funny video!

Reality TV Star, Mimi Faust of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, glows in dress and KilianClutch/Perfume Case at NYC Premier

Yesterday was the NYC premier of Love and Hip Hop. Mimi Faust walked the red carpet looking thinner and gorgeous in a yellow dress and long tresses. Accenting her look was a Kilian Perfume case/clutch from his, In the Garden of Good and Evil perfume collection. The white clutch comes adorned with a gold plated serpent and a bottle of perfume inside. Mimi's stylist totally added a unique dimension to her already chic look. The clutch is available in one of three scents, Good Girl Gone Bad, In the City of Sin, and Forbidden Games. You can find the case and other luxury Kilian perfumes at your nearest Saks 5thAve store, online, or at other luxury retail stores.

*I wonder what Kilian perfume she purchased

* Also, the clutch/case makes for a great summer purse replacement. It's made of quality and style. It's perfect for a lip gloss, cell phone, and a debit card too!!!! Keep it moving and look fab while doing so. Get it Mimi!

Sunday afternoon at SOB's

Reading S Magazine and DJOUR at SOB's NYC 200 Varick St.

Finally, Spring has arrived in NYC or at least for today! It's 62 degrees! I'm having brunch at music venue and restaurant, SOB's on Varick St. It's a chill spot to relax, listen to live music, and have a flavorful meal with friends or alone (as is the case today). The unlimited sangria is a nice touch to a tasty meal consisting of empanadas, Churrasco steak salad, and coconut flan. The live Brazilian music fills the room but not too much as to distract me from reading my magazines, jotting down notes of inspiration, thinking of my upcoming trip to Paris, reflecting on my time with friends this weekend, or making mental to-do notes for the week ahead. Oh, how I wish every Sunday can be this peaceful;)

Keeping it simple this Sunday
